Clifton Kephart
Clif joined the Klass Law Firm in 2018, where he is a partner. He grew up in Billings, Montana and attended Mount Marty University in Yankton, South Dakota, where he played baseball for the Lancers. Following his graduation at Mount Marty, he attended the University of South Dakota and obtained a master’s degree. He then worked as a property and casualty and workers’ compensation adjuster for several years before attending law school at the University of South Dakota, where he was a Sterling Honor Graduate.
Clif’s practice focuses primarily on insurance defense, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, construction defects, and coverage disputes. Clif is licensed to practice law in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. He is also admitted to practice in Federal Court in Nebraska and the Northern District of Iowa.
Clif and his wife, Kylee – a teacher, have 3 children. They make their home in Ponca, Nebraska.
Away from practicing law, Clif enjoys spending time with his family, attending his kids’ academic and sports activities, coaching baseball, visiting his home state of Montana, and spending time outdoors with a bow or fishing pole in his hands.
